"Ladies and Gentlemen, the President of the United States"
(first exhibited at AS220, Providence, RI) O.k...I know this image is a bit simplistic, but sometimes simple works. And to quote a man of George Bush's equal wit , "stupid is as stupid does". I think Mr. Bush in his attempts (whether they be sincere or not, I don't know for sure) to better this country, he has chosen to only bolster those parts of our national make up that is unfortunate and destructive. The legacy he is leaving future generations with (worldwide) seems based more on death than any sort of compassion that was supposedly a part of his whole "compassionate conservative" platform. Unfortunate, to say the least. Measuring 20” x 20 1/2”

So busy is this young man, putting forth his theories on how is his country, his heritage is the thing thatt seperates him from others, that rather than using his oars to row, he hoists his beloved flag on it. This is all fine and dandy, but alas, he cannot now row. Instead he drifts with the rest, not wanting his precious flag/ identity to get wet. sad to say, since noone else is in his boat, and he is unaware of just how much he has isolated himself by sticking so dearly to this idea.
